Elevate your pastil experience!

Pastil, also known as pastel, is a Filipino packed rice dish made of steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves and topped with dry shredded beef, chicken, or fish. It comes from the Maguindanao people and is a popular, low-cost breakfast dish in Mindanao, particularly among Muslim Filipinos.

Pastil stalls and eatery can be seen a lot in different parts of General Santos City. Even in schools, it is offered. It is impossible to know someone who hasn't tried pastil yet, as it is considered as a food that is easy to find and affordable with all the side dishes. You can't just get tired of eating it.

Even if the pastil food originally came from the Maguindanao people, there are also non-muslim who sells pastil. And not only Muslim people who consume the pastil even the non-muslim people loves to eat pastil.

When the pandemic came, almost all of the pastil stall seen in the street were closed. A lot of students missed eating pastil in their school. It just hits different to eat pastil after a long tiring day. The experience is different and it is hard to just forget about it.

Cajun Seafood Boil

A mukbang or meokbang (Korean:, pronounced [mk.pa], also known as an eating show) is an online audiovisual broadcast in which a host consumes various amounts of food while interacting with the audience, which first became popular in South Korea in 2010 and has since spread globally. Its popularity grew as a result of its stark contrast to Korean societal and gender norms, as well as food etiquette. Korea has a strong food culture. Many people believe that mukbang arose as a result of the increasing loneliness of single Koreans in the digital age. But what is it about it that makes it so appealing to so many people? Visual hunger, or the concept of "eating with our eyes," is one possible explanation. Because the brain and visual system are so closely linked, looking at beautiful images of food increases the human desire for it as well as the satiation of hunger. Because of the widely spread of mukbang around the world, people have been introduced to a lot of different foods of...
